Summary


Rentals are 24-hour minimum, equipment must be used safely and legally, and the renter is responsible for the trailer during the rental period. Full details are below.

Minimum Rental Period:
Minimum rental period is 24 hours. No same-day or hourly rentals.

Included Equipment:
Each rental includes:
  • Four (4) chains
  • Binders

Rental Period:
The rental period begins at the scheduled pickup time and ends at the agreed return time. Late returns may incur additional charges.

Payment & Deposits:
Full payment is due before trailer release. A refundable security deposit may be required based on trailer type and rental duration.

Usage Requirements:
Trailers must be used lawfully and within manufacturer load limits. Overloading, misuse, or improper towing is prohibited.

Responsibility & Liability:
The renter assumes full responsibility for the trailer during the rental period including loss, theft, damage, or accidents. DMV Trailers is not responsible for damage to vehicles, cargo, or persons.

Condition & Inspection:
All trailers are provided in safe working condition. Renters must inspect the trailer at pickup and report any issues immediately.

Damage & Repairs:
Damage occurring during the rental period is the renter’s responsibility. Repair costs may be deducted from deposits or billed separately.

Towing Requirements:
Renters must ensure their tow vehicle has the appropriate hitch size, electrical connections, and towing capacity.

Cancellations:
Cancellations must be made within the agreed cancellation window. Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit deposits.

Agreement Acceptance:
Renting from DMV Trailers confirms your acknowledgment and acceptance of all terms listed above.
